2017 - 2019

For two seasons I wrote the satirical football blog ‘bluespoof,’ documenting the relentless joy of being an Evertonian during the bleakest period in the club’s long history. An archive copy of the articles and adverts that made up the site is still available.

2012

Talking Spite

In 2012 I co-wrote and produced the podcast ‘Talking Spite.’ It was a mixture of satire, TV parody, topical humour and sketches, and is still available on sites such as apple.com and podomatic.

2009 - 2010

Standup comedy

I spent a couple of years performing standup comedy, mainly in the north west of England, London, and the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009 and 2010. In the video section of the website, there’s a short clip of a set from 2009.

2008

Fully House Trained

In 2008 I co-wrote and produced the sketch show ‘Fully House Trained’ which was staged in The Printworks, Manchester as part of the 24:7 Theatre Festival.
